Let's Make History at Forest Hills !
The Augusta area is a treasure of Golf History. On Monday September, 16 the CSRA Seniors will play at one of it's classic courses. Forest Hills was designed by Donald Ross and renovated by Arnold Palmer. Thirteen of the original holes remain as they were played by many legends of golf, including Bobby Jones. It is also home to the Augusta University golf teams and their National Championship Trophies are on display. Our tournament will begin with announcements at 8:50 am and a shotgun startat 9:00. We will also include a hot dog lunch following the round. It should be a great event. We have had a group from Woodside indicate that they are willing to take over as the Officers and Board beginning in 2020. We will keep you updated as we near the end of our current schedule. As in the past, we will try to have the schedule for 2020 set by the end of this year. Looking forward to seeing you at Forest Hills. Ken |
