How is my quota determined?
All tournament scoring is based on the USGA/GHIN system. Members should post scores from all rounds played to keep their handicap index up to date as handicaps do change from golf course to golf course. The formula for each tournament’s handicap is: (Handicap Index * Slope / 113) + (Course Rating – Par) So (today only) an example course handicap for the black tees at Cedar creek is: (20.6*(122/113) + (67.5-72))=17.74 Quota = 36 – 17.74 (handicap for the course being played) = 18.26
How is my Flight determined?
This is a multi-step process: Sort 1 – entries are separated by tees being played, back or forward Sort 2 – the players on each tee are ranked by handicap Sort 3 - the ranked groups are divided into flights of approximately (+/-) 20 players
How Do I Mark The Scorecard?
Players should write down both their actual scores per hole along with the points won per hole. Holes with points but not actual score will not be counted. Total up both your score and points for each nine and overall. Adding up your total for score expedites our error checking and allows awards to be processed quicker.
What Do I Do With the Scorecard When I Finish Playing?
There will someone from the scoring committee accepting scorecards as you finish your round. Bring in scorecards before doing anything else.
When Will the Pay Outs Be Given Out?

Will the Tournament be Cancelled for Bad Weather?
The club professional together with the Officers will determine whether a tournament should be cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather. The Officers and club professional will try to make the call as much in advance as possible and notify all players. However, in case of a questionable weather situation the cancellation could be the morning of the tournament. If you have any doubt each player is responsible for contacting the club. Club phone numbers can be found on the CSRA Seniors Schedule. If a tournament is cancelled prior to the starting time, all checks will be destroyed. Rain dates may be re-scheduled for a cancelled play date if possible.
